Niseko is a big resort with 4 interlinked area so it has heaps of area to ride. It does suffer from wind and quite often the upper slopes are shut. This is not a bad thing because when they open there is more untouched powder available than you would ever dream of. The town is very westernised so if your after a Japanese experience Niseko is not the best example.
Been twice, great sking and restaurants, good budget accomodation
I would recommend Niseko as a ski destination, Love the food there as well
Awesome snow. 2.5m of snow dumped in the week we were there. We'll be back !
Niseko provides unrivalled powder snow. It is an exceptional choice for any snow lover, with sufficient activities available other than skiing. Crowds are building and it is becoming more commercial, this however is by Japanese standards, which still means uncrowded and cultural by world standards!
